Self Enhancement, Inc. has a solid reputation for providing
innovative partnerships with corporations that benefit
companies and our students.
The goal of our Corporate Community Partnership Program
is to provide local businesses with opportunities to
contribute to SEI meaningful ways. Each partnership
is designed to meet the unique needs and desires of
each corporate partner. Through hands-on volunteering,
career exploration, internships, and monetary support,
our Corporate Partners connect on a more personal level
with SEI and the students. The experience is both personally
gratifying and enriching.
Here are what some of our Corporate Community Partners
have had to say about our program:
"Comcast toured SEI a few years
ago and watched SEI's librarian Genia Adair in action.
Ms. Adair represented the heart and soul of the reading
programs at SEI, so it was our pleasure to fund a
reading program formally teaming older kids up with
younger readers in the SEI library. Comcast employee
volunteers have had a great time at the Celebrity
Reading Hours with Ken Ackerman and Johnathan Nicholas.
We look forward to future events and great stories
read by terrific storytellers. SEI is a perfect partner
for Comcast Foundation support and the SEI reading
initiatives further our company's mission to improve
literacy rates and the joy of reading for children."
- Ms. Shannon Grosswiler, Comcast Community Affairs
Liason
“As Target expands its local
operations, it was incumbent on us to connect with
the communities in our new areas” says Vincson
Green. “Our Jantzen Beach store draws folks
from this community, and we want everyone to know
that we support the good work of Tony Hopson and SEI.
It’s a phenomenal program, and the partnership
is a win-win for us.”
- Mr. Vincson Green, Target Store Team Leader
