SEI’s youth and family services programs experience
success on a daily basis. From hitting the high note
in a choir solo, to graduating from SEI’s parenting
class, to being chosen as “Student of the Month”
by an SEI coordinator – success is something students,
families, and staff regularly achieve and celebrate
at SEI.
One of the largest successes SEI celebrates is the
number of student participants who graduate from high
school and go on to pursue a college education. On average,
SEI participants graduate from high school at a rate
of 98%, while only 64% of students graduate from the
primary neighborhood high school. In addition, over
85% of SEI high school graduates go on to pursue a college
education, often the first in their families to do so.
