Through SEI Living, affordable housing is intentionally connected to wraparound services, education pathways, and workforce opportunities.
Each community is designed to support stability today and economic mobility over time, making housing a core part of SEI’s mobility system.

Alberta Alive Partnership
Alberta Alive is a multi-site affordable housing initiative in Portland’s historically Black neighborhoods, developed by SEI and Community Development Partners. It offers culturally responsive housing for low-income families and veterans, addressing the legacy of displacement. Key sites include the Ronnie Herndon, Paul & Geneva Knauls, and Dr. Darrell Millner Buildings, prioritizing residents with deep community roots through the city’s N/NE Preference Policy.
